跟brighter分支pinkie一樣,名稱同樣取自graham greene的小說brighton rock而來的加拿大多倫多樂隊The Holiday Crowd,與去年在Shelflife Records發表首張作品的丹麥樂隊balloon magic都是有著懷念老indiepop聲音,
若把balloon magic比做像felt + the go-betweens的抒情迷人,那The Holiday Crowd就等如召喚出the bodines裡最煦暖的心意,而主音Imran Haniff黏旋律唱法更相當有the smiths自我著魔的聲影;第一張7曲Over The Bluffs EP (New Romantic Music/ Shelflife Records)總長近26分鐘,將有12吋與cd兩版本,輯內首曲下載試聽: Never Speak Of It Again.
